Stop EndNote reinstalling its Chrome extension

EndNote's Chrome extension can come back after you uninstall the app. On startup, Chrome checks /Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/External Extensions and installs whatever those JSON files describe. Other Chromium browsers do the same.

Fix

1. Open /Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/External Extensions.
2. Delete any leftover file named like fjgncogppolhfdpijihbpfmeohpaadpc.json.

Uninstalling EndNote does not remove this file by default, so the extension keeps coming back until you delete it yourself.

Thoughts

No reference manager on macOS is perfect. Zotero's PDF viewer leaks memory. EndNote tends to break my citations in Word, and the UI is clustered. I'll stick with Zotero for now since my documents matter more anyway.
